How To Reset Hamilton Beachmicrowave To Cook Mode

Media Center - episode 3

It 's been another year of my previous article and in the meantime are obviously still things changed ... Windows 7 Media Center and 'become a new benchmark for HTPC (at least certainly for me, but from what I read around seems to have become very popular)

The reason for this new article and' simple. Although I had no problem seeing all my movies from my NAS, every time that it was a movie in HD I had to start a dedicated media player (MPC-HC in my case) so do take advantage of the acceleration DXVA and redirect the sound on my system Dolby Digital 5 +1. I was never able to properly configure my Windows Media Center box to use them properly. Do not tell you then explain it all to my wife ... a drama ... To see a movie in HD I had to force me to be there!

Problem apparently solved with codecs free Shark007: http://shark007.net/win7codecs.html

  1. uninstall any previously installed codec.
  2. installed codecs free Shark007.
  3. take a deep "Reset All" to clean all remnants of any previous codec settings.
  4. "play" with the Settings ... Personally, I was flagged "Shark 2007 Suggested settings" and I just set in more "DXVA ffdshow codec" in the tab H264.

For now it seems everything is working fine, even with movies in HD (with video acceleration) within Windows Media Center.
