The next show is dedicated to Gil Pidoux artworks of Vaud.
The exhibition, titled "Carte Sparse" includes eighty works including watercolors, ink, mixed media and collages gathered for the occasion as a celebration of the last 10 years of the artist.
Son of art (his father is a watercolorist Bernard Pidoux), Gil was born in Lausanne in 1938.
His is a lifetime devoted to art, theater and writing.
Following his studies at the Conservatory of Lausanne, in the drama, and the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in the same city. He exhibited for many decades in Switzerland and abroad.
director, set designer, painter, actor and poet, wrote many plays of the theater to the stage and radio, published several books and collaborated with theater companies in Western Switzerland and Ticino. He has made many tours in Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany and Romania.
In 1999 he received the "Prix des écrivains Vaudois" and in 2001 the Ministry of Culture has been awarded the "Medaille d'Or de la Renaissance Française".
