Game: DC Universe Online Closed Beta and NDA lifted! [Updated]

say ... I had the privilege of being selected for the closed beta of this new MMO based on the superhero, this time as the official DC Comics (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Lex Luthor, Catwoman, Joker, Poison Ivy , etc ... to name only the most famous).

Well ... In recent years I must admit that I was accustomed to levels of beta and really poor game concept with almost all copied from each other. It 'clear that we can not invent anything totally new in this environment but cmq, try to differentiate themselves a bit from the competition should be one of the goals to be pursued because otherwise' a player should go to the competition (except for reasons of boredom ). we had already tested the only time conccorente, City of Heroes, introducing the forced absence of archetypes (and eventually 'proved to be an evil in my opinion) and also a gameplay based on skill of the player with the introduction of the ability to block shots.

In my opinion, DCUO to a new level. I'm talking about the closed beta so it is not 'certain a final decision and is' subject to change of opinion, especially for the balance of power that often undermine this kind of game. But for now I can tell you this:
  • The level of finishing and closed beta 'than anything I have seen in the last 2 years and I think this already 'a good sign.
  • The graphics and 'very pleasant and very well finished (Unreal engine)
  • You play in Gotham City and Metropolis
  • You can choose to be a hero or a villain
  • There PvP server (PvP wild everywhere) and PvE server (cmq where you can only PvP in the arenas or during certain events)
  • addition to the traditional missions to accomplish, there are also clear instances of group and raid. The most striking thing about cmq and 'care for the story of each quest, which really leads me to believe that in an episode of Comic private seasonal favorite.
  • The move powers are limited to 3, are available from level 1 (alleluja!!) and none of the three in my opinion and 'better than the other.
